#1 GLOBAL
BIODIVERSITY

Where the Indian Ocean meets the Pacific.

Komodo isn’t trending by chance. Two oceans collide here, creating an explosive ecosystem that combines big pelagic action with world-class macro diving — all in one destination.

  • Reefs blanketed in hard and soft corals and gorgonian sea fans
  • Massive schools of pelagic fish
  • Manta rays, reef sharks, sea turtles
  • Top-tier macro: leaf fish, mimic octopus, pygmy seahorses
  • Volcanic landscapes unlike anywhere else on Earth

Drift dives, ripping currents, pure adrenaline.

Many dives in North Komodo are drifts where the current becomes your greatest ally. Descend, set your buoyancy, and let the ocean carry you through a wall of life.

Volcanic pinnacle smothered in marine life. Widely rated one of the world’s best dive sites.

Crystal Rock

Strong currents and near-guaranteed encounters with sharks and mantas.

A busy cleaning station where reef mantas go about their daily routines.

Tatawa Besar

Exceptional macro: nudibranchs, leaf scorpionfish, and pygmy seahorses.

Minimum certified logged dives

This is not a beginner trip. It’s built for divers with real current experience and solid buoyancy control. The group’s level is what guarantees the quality of the experience.

Komodo is just as epic above the surface.

The land excursions are a core part of the trip, not an afterthought. Komodo’s nature is as spectacular out of the water as it is below it.

Everything you need to know before booking.

How do I get to Komodo from Europe or the US?

Fly internationally to Jakarta or Bali, then take a domestic flight to Labuan Bajo. This is the most convenient gateway to Komodo National Park. We’re happy to help you plan your connections if needed.

Is this trip suitable for all levels?

No. This trip requires a minimum of 50 certified logged dives and solid experience in currents. This isn’t an arbitrary rule — it ensures the whole group is ready for the dives and that everyone gets the most out of the experience.

How many dives are included?

18 dives in total: 3 per day during the days aboard the liveaboard, except the final day which has 2. Sites are handpicked to maximise variety and wildlife encounters.

What is NOT included in the price?

International flights and domestic flights within Indonesia are not included. Everything else — hotel, liveaboard, dives, excursions, and full board on the boat — is covered.
