From South Malé to Rasdhoo via Ari and Vaavu — each atoll offers something different. Drift dives through channels, pristine coral gardens, and encounters with the Maldives’ most iconic species. The route can be sailed clockwise or anti-clockwise depending on conditions.

Starting point. Stunning thilas and channels. Home to sharks and eagle rays.

One of the most pristine atolls in the country. Powerful channels with amazing soft corals, possibility of hammerheads and grey reef sharks.

Possibility of whale sharks year-round. Manta cleaning stations, pelagics and extraordinary macro.

End of the route. Base of Family Divers since 2016. One of the best channels of the whole route

Built to last.
Built in 2018 and fully converted as a dive liveaboard in 2021. Four decks — each purpose-designed so that between dives you feel at home. Comfortable, spacious and ready for life at sea.
A dedicated, spacious and very comfortable 22m fibreglass dive dhoni (diving boat) keeps your equipment on board, with two Nitrox compressors for fast tank fills so you’re always ready to go.

Every dive with enriched air (EAN/Nitrox) — reducing nitrogen build-up, improving comfort between dives and allowing safer repetitive diving. Your 9-year-experienced Family divers instructors plus two expert local guides who know each site intimately.

Drift dives

The rhythm of a liveaboard is unlike anything else. Dive, eat, rest, repeat — all while drifting through one of the most beautiful waters on the planet.
Dawn dive
The ocean is at its calmest. Your best chance to spot hammerheads, mantas and pelagics before the day begins.
Breakfast on board
Freshly prepared by our chefs. Buffet format including vegetarian options.
Second dive
The main dive of the day — usually the most spectacular site. Thorough briefing beforehand.
Lunch & rest
Time to eat, review your photos, chat with the team or doze on the sun deck.
Third dive
Afternoon light filters through the water like nothing else. Perfect for macro and reef photography.
Deck time
Share the day’s stories with the group. Snacks between afternoon dives. Maldives sunsets from the top deck.

Embarkation
Arrive in Malé, transfer to the boat. Welcome briefing and first sunset at sea.
Best of Maldives
Up to 3 dives per day. South Malé → Vaavu → Ari → Rasdhoo. Night dive included.
Final dives
Two morning dives. Farewell dinner on board.
Disembarkation
Morning disembarkation. Transfer back to Malé airport. End of the adventure.

Fly to Velana International Airport (MLE) in Malé. Most European airlines connect via Dubai, Doha or Istanbul. From Malé we coordinate your transfer to the boat. We’re happy to advise on connections.
International flights and transfers to/from Malé airport are not included. Everything else — 7 nights on board, all dives, Nitrox, full board meals and snacks — is covered.
Yes. You can rent a full kit: mask, BCD/jacket, regulator, wetsuit, reef hooks and dive computer. Let us know in advance so we can prepare everything for you.
The route is always subject to weather conditions and the captain’s decisions to ensure safety for both the boat and all passengers. That said, the core «Best of Maldives» circuit is our standard route and we follow it in the vast majority of trips.
The trip requires Nitrox certification because all dives are done with enriched air. If you’re not certified yet, we can arrange the Enriched Air course before the liveaboard departs. Get in touch and we’ll sort it out.
